The borderlands of North Wales are truly beautiful - incredibly diverse and quintessentially Welsh. They’re situated in between Chester to the east and Snowdonia to the west.

The borderlands are perfect for every kind of activity, from eating and drinking in some of the many fine restaurants and bars to walking, fishing or even whitewater rafting. There are also plenty of pretty country villages, country castles and historic houses to explore. What better way to unwind...

You’ll find some of the best walking in the country here, along with many top class golf courses and its fair share of rivers, providing great fishing.

The borderlands are packed with bustling market towns and award winning tourist attractions. Some of these include, the ironworks where the cannon for the American War of Independence was made and Richard II’s medieval castle, where he eventually surrendered his crown. The Borderlands are the perfect place to visit all year round.
